Our Journey: From Hobby to Full-Time Auto Repair
GoodHart Motors started as a simple nighttime hobby in a storage unit. Founded by Trenton and Andrew in 2020, what began as a passion project quickly grew into the trusted auto repair shop we are today. Both of us shared a love for mechanics, and when COVID hit, we saw a perfect opportunity to team up and build something for ourselves.

Owned and Operated by the Founders
GoodHart Motors has remained under the ownership of Trenton and Andrew since its inception. We’ve been hands-on in every aspect of the business, from turning wrenches to helping customers find the best solutions for their vehicles. Our dedication and love for the trade have fueled the shop’s success and growth over the years.
The Roots of Our Passion
Trenton has been wrenching since he was a kid, fixing dirt bikes and small engines, always the go-to friend when something needed repair. He started sweeping floors in a shop at 14 and officially began turning wrenches at 16. After a few years, he took a position at an independent Mercedes shop, where he spent five years gaining in-depth knowledge of all things Mercedes.
Andrew, on the other hand, has been a gearhead for as long as he can remember. From tinkering with RC cars to dirt bikes, he’s always been obsessed with making improvements. While studying finance in college, Andrew worked part-time selling cars at a Bentley/Aston Martin/Maserati dealership, honing his interpersonal skills and fueling his love for high-performance vehicles.
Meet the Team
Gage is a key member of our team, joining us at the end of 2023. He’s a jack of all trades, from electrical diagnostics to suspension work, and his skills complement our shop perfectly. When he’s not under the hood, Gage enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, riding his motorcycle, and hitting the trails on his dirt bike.
Life Outside the Shop
When we’re not working on cars, we love spending time with friends and family. Andrew enjoys soaking up the sun and relaxing on the lake, while Trenton finds peace on long motorcycle rides and flying his RC airplanes. Family, friends, and our shared passions keep us grounded and inspired every day.
